The demolition of the existing Baptist church and the construction of a new purpose built 2 storey church, including a worship space, café, office space, meeting rooms, external play area and Baptistery pool. This was constructed using a structural insulated panel system (SIPS) to the walls and roof, incorporating a combination Glulam frame members with Steelwork, concrete foundations and ground floor, engineered joists to the first floor.

The envelope consists of Zinc to a large proportion, through-coloured render, man-made roof tiles and composite aluminium/timber windows. Internally: a full immersion Baptist pool was formed and surrounded by a stage; a full commercial kitchen was built to cater for the café area; a platform lift was installed to provide access for all to the first floor.

Various areas of worship were created with simple and functional decoration; modern water saving toilet facilities were provided. The building was serviced with gas fired, underfloor heating, energy saving lighting and full data and security provision throughout. An interactive audio-visual system provides church-goers with access to worship from any part of the building and movable walls add flexibility to the ground floor areas.
